When did you fall in love with dance and performing?
I’ve been dancing from the young age of 4 so I’ve always loved dancing however, I feel like my real passion for dance came when I was in high school around the age of 14. This is when I chose dance for one of my GCSE options and really thought about a career in dance.
Before this I was just doing dance as more of hobby but when I looked deeper into dance as a career my passion started to grow, and I really started to build my dancing career by taking every opportunity to dance or teach dance seriously.
What does dancing bring to your life? How does it make you feel?
Dancing brings so much to my life, if it wasn’t for dance, I wouldn’t have met some of the most amazing people who I now class as my close friends.
Dance is a huge part of my life and has certainly made me who I am today! I have gained so much confidence through dancing, when I was younger, I was very shy in person however as the years went on and I started to take more classes and expand on my dancing my confidence flourished and made me into the confident person I am today. When I’m performing, I feel calm and that I have no worries in the world!
What is your favourite memory from performing?
Every time I perform, I’m gaining more amazing memories and experiences so it’s hard to whittle them down to just one.
However recently I was Showgirling for Girls Cartel and the Butterfly Ball at the Grosvenor House in London. This is one of the UKs biggest charity events which raises money for the Caudwell Children trust. I was so honoured to be apart of such an amazing event which helped to change so many children’s lives.
How do you like to relax when you are away from the stage?
One way I like to relax is juts by spending time with my family or friends simply by just going on days out and catching up with each other or just spending the day helping them with the things they need to do.
But apart from that I usually spend time on my self by going to the gym or going for facials which help me to relax and take time to myself to reflect on all the great opportunities I get given.
Tell us one of your wildest night out stories.
I’ve been on a lot of night outs which aren’t always quiet so its hard to say which is my wildest night. I always like to say the best nights out are the ones you can’t remember, and I often can’t remember my nights out. When I was younger, I went to a quite a few wild house parties and since them I’ve been to a lot of wild nights out and parties, however I don’t think I can tell the wildest stories!
What is your best travel experience?
I have quite a few travelling experiences as I’ve always been lucky enough to go abroad at least once a year, which I am very grateful for as I love going abroad and seeing the different cultures. So, if I had to choose, one of my favourite Holidays would have to be when I went to Mexico in 2009 as it was such a beautiful place.
When I go abroad, I love going to the beach and going in the sea and the beach in Mexico was like a dream, the sea was so beautiful it was like looking at a picture. Also, in our resort they had a trapeze which I loved going on alongside this they used the children in the resort for there shows on the night which was amazing for me.
What would be your dream event to perform at?
I don’t have a dream event as I am grateful to perform at any event. However, I would love to perform on a cruise ship as this is something I’ve always been attracted to doing, from the costumes to dances it all just looks amazing and you get to see the world while doing something you love so I couldn’t imagine anything better!
What is top of your bucket list?
My bucket list is always growing as there so many things I would love to see/do, but at the top is travelling to Australia. I have always wanted to visit Australia and travel around as its such a beautiful place and has millions of stunning things to do and amazing once in a life time opportunities to take part in.
